My chicken was very tender and well seasoned. The asparagus were steamed and tasty. My husband had their Tableau burger and was very pleased with it. He asked for it to be done "pink" and he was not disappointed. The service was excellent and the ambiance was like you were sitting in a restaurant in Italy. A very enjoyable experience

What an amazing experience it was to dine here! My sister and all of our friends attended a dinner reservation celebrating her bachelorette and the ambiance was extremely lovely, the staff incredibly helpful - in particular Ashleigh who went above and beyond with our party. Even including a complimentary crème brûlée that said Congratulations! If you're ever in the area, don't deny yourself the opportunity to dine here! Food was fabulous!

We had a wonderful experience at Tableau! Our server Ashleigh greeted us with a smile and ice cold towels to cool us down on a very hot day. That small touch meant so much to us. She was knowledgeable and funny! We started off with the blue crab fondue which was amazing. We both enjoyed our entrees but favored the seafood summer pasta that was light and refreshing yet also savory. Tableau was beautiful inside and out but Ashleigh truly made our experience one we won't soon forget.

Really loved the atmosphere here. It's connected to a little playhouse! I wish I would have known this ahead of time I would have loved to see a play as well. My meal was very good! The stand out was the dessert/ I ordered the crème Brulé. It is served spread on a plate which I loved- more surface for the sugar topping.

5/5 stars for lunch here on Mother's Day. I got the brown butter gnocchi appetizer and the red currant crepe entree. We shared the Instagram worthy large creme brulee dessert. There are vegetarian options here. The food tasted gourmet level and the service was outstanding. I ate every last drop of food. My only complaint would be that the portions of the appetizer and entree were small. But the creme brulee dessert was a huge portion on a big plate for 2-4 people to share. This restaurant is upscale and I would recommend business casual dress here. You would feel out of place here in casual clothes. We sat on the 2nd level balcony seating outside and had a great view of Jackson Square.

My coworker recommended Tableau to me. Though my fiance and I have been to a handful of New Orleans institutions, I took my coworker's word for Tableau and was not disappointed. I made reservations for 12:15pm on a Thursday. We arrived around noon. Not only were we seated right away, but we were also able to get a balcony table as I requested. The restaurant is pretty big. It may not look like it from the outside, but once you venture in you'll find that they have a a few dining spaces including the downstairs bar, "The Library," The Green Room, the courtyard, the balcony, etc. Overall service was great. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. Food came out in a timely manner. We ordered a few things off the menu including the turtle soup, crawfish etouffee, and the shrimp and grits. My fiance and I shared the turtle soup. The soup was good. The flavor was great, but I found their soup more on the runny side. I was a big fan of everything I tried, but I must say that the crawfish etouffee was the standout dish. The shrimp and grits were good, but I can see them being heavy and buttery.

Tableau was pretty great, but probably did not live up to our expectations fully (which is why the 1 less star). We went here on a Saturday night (with a reservation) but it wasn't really that full anyways. Our server was very nice, he even showed us a cool trick with a cocktail bottle! We ordered the mussels (which were great), grilled octopus (which was okay), the escargot (which was kinda underwhelming), the french onion soup (which was absolutely fantastic) and some cocktails and dessert. Overall, it was good and I'd even go back here and maybe order some different items. Would recommend trying out!
